Compensation:
$23 to 26.50

ABOUT THE ROLE

Ignitus Recovery is a growing behavioral health organization providing residential and outpatient treatment for substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders at Cherry Hills Recovery and Boulder Hills Recovery. This role offers a unique opportunity to help build an exceptional treatment program from the ground up.

The Admissions Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for individuals and families seeking treatment. This role is responsible for responding to inquiries, conducting intake screenings, coordinating admissions, and ensuring a compassionate, trauma-informed experience throughout the admissions process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the first point of contact for potential clients, families, and referral partners

  • Respond promptly to all calls, emails, and inquiries within established timeframes

  • Conduct intake screenings and gather pre-admission information with empathy and professionalism

  • Enter and track all inquiry and pre-screen data in the CRM and EHR systems

  • Work collaboratively with the billing company to conduct verification of benefits and insurance authorizations

  • Clearly communicate treatment options, program expectations, and financial responsibilities

  • Coordinate closely with clinical, medical, and admissions leadership to clear clients for admission

  • Facilitate admission logistics, including scheduling, required documentation, and items to bring

  • Proactively identify and address barriers to admission to support timely access to care

  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards

  • Provide administrative support related to admissions, letters, and required forms

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Strong customer service, phone, and communication skills

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficiency with CRM systems, EHRs, and standard office software

  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance

  • Ability to pass federal, state, and county background checks

Preferred:

  • 1–2 years of experience in healthcare admissions, intake, or administrative roles

  • Experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment settings
    Knowledge of substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, and levels of care
